Customer Support Assistant

Permanent position
Remote applicants welcome
Full/part time flexibility

Passionate about communication and supporting churches
Up to £22,000 based on experience, 20 days + bank holidays

Come and join our Customer Support team, working alongside our existing, experienced team, supporting current and prospective customers via email, telephone and online. Previous customer support skills are great, but we're willing to invest in and train someone who is able to demonstrate the right character and attributes.

You are:

  • Someone who enjoys using your ChurchSuite knowledge to solve problems, always willing to troubleshoot around an issue in order to answer a customer question
  • Eager to offer suggestions and workarounds, perhaps drawing on your own experience of using ChurchSuite, contributing more than a direct answer to the question being asked
  • Someone who thrives when they have several conversations on the go at the same time
  • A good communicator who is naturally organised, detail-minded and competent with using computers for their role; someone who is excited by “systems” and “processes”
  • Up for being an advocate for our customers in development decision-making processes
  • Confident at presenting to small groups, able to train or demonstrate things clearly, while fielding questions without being ‘phased’
  • A proficient typist, comfortable with spending a large portion of your day responding to queries by email

You will:

  • Join a growing team who are committed to excellence
  • Be invested in and challenged, both professionally and personally
  • Ideally be based in Nottingham, however for the right person we will consider a remote worker
  • Be full time (Mon-Fri, 9am-5.30pm), but for the right person we will consider part time applicants

Bonus points if:

  • You’ve used ChurchSuite in a church administrator or church ministry/leadership context
  • You have experience of customer retention and customer acquisition

We will:

  • Invest in your development and provide a great working environment
  • Allow your working hours to be flexible when needed
  • Give you 20 days holiday plus bank holidays
  • Pay up to £22k, based on experience
