Ongoing Updates: 13th August - 30th September 2026
We're constantly updating and enhancing ChurchSuite, often building directly upon customer feedback to guide our development. The following lists some changes that were made to ChurchSuite between 13th August 2026 and 30th September 2026.

September 28th, 2026 Organise your events with Labels
We've added Labels functionality to the Calendar module, which works alongside event Categories, giving you a new way to organise and filter events in ChurchSuite and on web-embedded calendars and event feeds. An event can belong to a single category, but it can have multiple labels.

We've made some visual updates to the Calendar module Categories section, adding columns for Checklists and Subscribe links
September 21st, 2026 Forms > Filter communication field options
You can now filter the checkbox options on the communication field for public-facing forms. Now, if you don't want to surface rota reminder, phone or post options on a form for newcomers, you don't have to.
September 21st, 2026 Forms > Filter site field options
You can now choose which sites show on a public-facing form. Perfect if you have some bespoke sites on your account or perhaps your site hasn't launched yet.
September 18th, 2026 Forms > Send notification email action
We've added a new action to forms to send a notification email out to one or more email addresses. Once a response comes in you can trigger a custom notification email to non-users to let them know. The content of the email is customisable with merge fields for sharing response data with the recipient(s).
September 14th, 2026 Forms > automatically add new people
We've added the ability for Forms to automatically add new people as either a Contact or a Child. When set to automatically add new people, any Form response that cannot be matched to an existing person will automatically be added to either the Address Book or Children modules, depending on the Form's response type.
September 9th, 2026 User Security Tab
To help you manage the security of your account, there is a new "Security" tab when you view your user's profile, which lets you see and manage any apps or external applications you have connected to your account, and any active browser sessions.
September 3rd, 2026 Custom Fields > help text for Checkboxes and Radios
Users can now add helper text for each option on a Checkbox and Radio custom field. Module Users will see the helper text shown when updating custom field values for a person or small group in ChurchSuite. The helper text is also shown where the custom field is editable in My ChurchSuite and Embed.
September 2nd, 2026 Mobile App User Interface and Search updates
Bringing consistency with the Sidebar navigation in the browser environment, we've updated the location of the navigation drawer button in the ChurchSuite and CharitySuite mobile apps. We've also updated the style of the 'Back' button on the app menu bar and introduced navigation icons to align with the browser navigation. Finally, we're excited to introduce the Global Search feature to the app; a popular feature that was only previously available in the browser Sidebar experience.

As part of ongoing Forms improvements, Users can now add helper text for each option on a Checkbox and Radio field on a Form.

September 30th, 2026 Refreshed design for Developer site
We've given our Developer site a fresh new look, making it cleaner, simpler and easier to use. Streamlined navigation means you can find what you need faster, and a combined Core v2 specification means searching and test credentials now work across all modules at once. We've also improved the mobile experience, introducing a slimline top navigation that stays out of your way.
