We're constantly updating and enhancing ChurchSuite, often building directly upon customer feedback to guide our development. The following lists some changes that were made to ChurchSuite between 19th February 2026 and 17th June 2026.

June 11th, 2026 'Send form invite' form action
We've added a new 'Send form invite' for forms, which now makes it possible for a linked response to one form to trigger sending the respondent an invitation to a different form automatically, conditionally or manually.
June 8th, 2026 Try our new email composer
We've release some early access to try out our new email composer to all of our users. All email actions across the system now have a 'New' and 'Old' version. Our new composer benefits from a more accurate visual experience, powerful button and HTML tools as well as Parent/Carer communication options across all modules.
June 1st, 2026 Connect Check-In has been retired
As communicated over the last six months, Connect Check-In has now been retired and fully replaced by Check-In. The new Check-In platform offers greater flexibility, iOS and Android apps with support for Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and USB printing, and a modernised user experience.
June 1st, 2026 Filtering future key dates
We've added the ability to filter Key Dates using future-based filters, such as "in the next 3 months". You can use these filters when viewing Key Dates and also as conditions for Smart Tags.
May 27th, 2026 Published or Draft/Published plans through My ChurchSuite
Following our recent update to make Plans available within the My Rotas section of My ChurchSuite, we've added a new option to the Planning module settings, allowing you to choose whether only Published plans are listed or whether Draft plans are included too.
May 26th, 2026 New bulk action for editing event locations
We've added Location fields to the Edit bulk action in the Events section of the Calendar module. This could be used in conjunction with the "Location" Display Options to identify incorrect or missing locations and update them for multiple selected events.
May 11th, 2026 Check-In Family Search
We've added a new "Family Search" option to Check-In, making it easy to check in a whole family, even when they don't share the same last name. After selecting a person to check in, you'll have the option to show other linked family members, including spouses, children, parents and carers. Tap "Show family" to see everyone who hasn't yet been checked in, then check them all in at once! This feature can be enabled in a gathering's Check-In settings, making it available whenever you start a session for that gathering. It can also be enabled/disabled through the Check-In Admin area.
May 7th, 2026 Stripe paid sign-ups deletable after 12 months
We've made a change so that sign-ups paid for via Stripe can now be deleted 12 months after they were created. Previously, these sign-ups couldn't be deleted in order to support financial audits. The new 12-month lock period ensures they can still be accounted for in annual accounts, while allowing historical data to be deleted in line with your data retention policies.
May 7th, 2026 New design now available!
We've been working on a new design experience for the past few months, and we're excited to announce that it's now available as an opt-in experience. At this stage, each user can individually choose to use the new design before it becomes the default experience for all users in due course. The new design includes a number of updates and improvements: - Side navigation with expanding menus, making navigation faster and easier. - A new smart search, allowing you to search across the application from any page. - Navigation breadcrumbs, helping you always know where you are within the application. - Customisable widgets on people pages, allowing you to see the information most relevant to you from the Details tab. - A new Notes tab, giving your notes more space and improving readability. - Updated designs for widgets, reports, and settings pages.
April 27th, 2026 Improved donation statement experience
We've completely rebuilt and improved the user experience for producing statements of donations for your givers. Moving away from an 'occasional report' experience, the functionality now sits front and centre in a new Statements section in the Giving module. We've made it easier to send or print statements individually or en masse.
April 27th, 2026 Refreshed design for Calendar
We've rolled out some updates for the Calendar that modernise its look and feel and introduce a number of customer-requested improvements: - New default Month view. - Improved accessibility with use of user-selected colours. - Added option to see Contact Birthdays (selected in the Display Options menu). - Added support for week numbers (selected in the Display Options menu). - Cleaner display of leave requests, with easy access to "Who's working?" for each day. - Click on an event/booking to preview its key details, before either dismissing it or choosing to view the full details. - Improved performance and faster navigation between dates. We hope you find these updates improve and enhance your use of this incredibly popular feature!
April 21st, 2026 Plan page printing updates
We've updated Plan pages to introduce a more complete printing experience. You can now print customised PDFs of your plans from any Plan page.
April 15th, 2026 New Booking pages
We've updated the customer-facing Booking page to ensure a more consistent styling across our public and member-facing pages. The charge payment workflow has also been redesigned to streamline the customer experience.
April 10th, 2026 New Serving pages
We've updated the rota Serving page to ensure a more consistent styling across our member-facing pages. The new page offers a faster load speed, with a cleaner and more modern feel.
March 30th, 2026 Deep links support in Check-In App
The Check-In app now supports deep links, and can be opened from 'Go to Check-In' action button in the ChurchSuite app. This feature is shipped in the 1.3.0 release of the Check-In app.
March 27th, 2026 New Attendance Tracking report in Children module
We've added a new Attendance Tracking report in the Children module. Designed to fully replace the Attendance Percentages, Attendance Summary and No Attendance reports. This powerful report brings together functionality that was previously spread across multiple other reports, and mimics the equivalent functionality that can be found within the Small Groups module.
March 23rd, 2026 Check-In links open in an external browser
Tapping links to "Go to Check-In in the ChurchSuite mobile app now always opens in an external browser rather than inside a web view window within the ChurchSuite app. This update is needed to support the next release of the ChurchSuite Check-In app. This means you will need to update to the ChurchSuite app version 4.3.5 before updating to the ChurchSuite Check-In app version 1.3.0.
March 3rd, 2026 New: "Recent group attendance" widget
We've added a new Dashboard Widget enabling you to view attendance data for groups.
February 26th, 2026 Fortnightly small group attendance reminders
We've added a new fortnightly (every two weeks) option to automated attendance reminders in the Small Groups module. When setting up reminders for group leaders, you can now choose from weekly, fortnightly, or specific weeks of the month (e.g. 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th or last). You can also now set a start date for reminders - ideal when setting up groups at the beginning of term.
February 23rd, 2026 Small Groups Attendance chart
We've added a new chart to the Small Groups > Attendance section to give you clearer insight into attendance trends across your groups. Select your preferred date range and choose how you'd like the data grouped (e.g. total attendees by week or month, or average weekly attendance by month) to see a clear visualisation of your data.
My ChurchSuite
April 23rd, 2026 Plans tab in My ChurchSuite
Within My ChurchSuite, we've added a Plans tab to the My Rotas (Rosters) section. The tab will appear for anyone who is linked to a plan within the next 12 months, and offers a quick and convenient way to access plans for song rehearsal or simply ahead of a gathering.
API
June 4th, 2026 Rotas Module API
We're excited to begin opening up the data within the Rotas module through our API. These initial Rotas API endpoints give you read access to your Ministry, Team and Member information, allowing you to pull insights about a person's Ministry involvement into your own applications.
June 1st, 2026 API v2 now supports OAuth2 Scopes
For customers using our Developer API, the v2 Core API now supports a range of OAuth2 scopes, allowing custom applications to request access tokens with more granular permissions. By granting only the access required, you can strengthen the security of your custom applications.
