We're constantly updating and enhancing ChurchSuite, often building directly upon customer feedback to guide our development. The following lists some changes that were made to ChurchSuite between 15th September 2022 and 24th November 2022.

September 20th, 2022 New Dashboard widget - "Serving soon"
We've added a new Dashboard widget for the Rotas module called "Serving soon". Add it to your Dashboard and the widget will show you all of the rotas you have scheduled for the next 7 days, giving you a great overview right from the moment you log in!
September 21st, 2022 Refund indicator for Claims
We've updated the Claims index page so that it includes the total number of refunds being included in the claim within the Donations column. Additionally, the Gift Aid column now shows the net value of Gift Aid (Gift Aid being claimed - Gift Aid being refunded).
September 22nd, 2022 New Claim CSV options
Downloading a Gift Aid claim CSV now includes some additional options. In addition to downloading in HMRC format (the default), a new Custom format enables you to choose which Giver and Custom Fields are included or excluded in the CSV file. You can even download an anonymised CSV file without giver names.
October 4th, 2022 Layout consistency updates
We've made a range of changes when viewing a contact, child, giver, event, booking, etc in order to make the experience more consistent. You'll find some changes with where Notes, Overseers and other sections are placed on the page, giving a predictable experience and cleaner layout.
October 4th, 2022 Actions are now click-activated
As part of a range of accessibility and usability updates, we've now made action menus click-activated rather than hover, as they were before. On a desktop, this should give a more predictable experience across the system, with menus only appearing when you click to activate them. On a phone/tablet, we've reduced the number of touch actions required to see the actions and improved the touch target size, which will improve usability. Alongside these changes, we've made some design updates to modernise and simplify pages with a large number of actions; all actions continue to work as they did previously.
October 7th, 2022 Calendar Category specific Stripe accounts
Much like you can with Giving Funds and Booking Types you can now assign specific Stripe accounts to Calendar Categories. Doing so will mean that ticket payments from category events will be paid into a specific bank account.
October 7th, 2022 Apple & Google Pay
We now accept Apple Pay & Google Pay payments through Stripe as an extension of our card payment integration. If you've already been accepting card payments through Stripe then there's nothing more you need to do - Apple Pay or Google Pay will appear at the payment stage when on a valid device with a registered card in place.
November 2nd, 2022 Additional Stripe payment methods for Europe
European customers using the Stripe integration are now able to accept online donations, event tickets and booking charges using local payment methods. Depending on your Country and account Currency we now support payment through giropay, Przelewy24, Bancontact, iDeal, Sofort, and EPS. Use of these additional payment methods is subject to opt-in and may be subject to different transaction fees.
November 9th, 2022 Privacy settings for children
Children now have privacy settings, which are visible and editable through their profiles in the Children module. We've also added a Children module option that enables you to set the default privacy settings used for new children when you add or import them into My ChurchSuite.
November 16th, 2022 Leave request defaults for public holidays
We've added a Calendar module option enabling you to set the default state of the "Exclude public holidays' checkbox on the pop-up form that Users complete when submitting their leave requests.
November 16th, 2022 Connect New Visitor Flow
We've updated the child check-in search process with first-time users in mind. We've removed references to 'searching' and now automatically populate the visitor form with relevant details where no matching results are found.
My ChurchSuite
October 11th, 2022 My Children UI update
We've made updates to the My Children section of My ChurchSuite for parents. We continue to show each child's basic details on a profile card, but fuller details are now shown on a View page and edits to child details happen in pop-ups. These changes improve the accessibility and usability for parents in both browser and app environments.
November 9th, 2022 Centralised My ChurchSuite settings
In preparation for My ChurchSuite access for children, we've centralised the shared My ChurchSuite settings, moving them out of the Address Book module settings into the Account Profile section of the Administrator area.
November 9th, 2022 My ChurchSuite for Children
We're really excited to announce the release of My ChurchSuite for the Children module. Children now have the same great user experience in a browser and apps, making it easy to view and manage their rotas and serving commitments, accept and decline serving requests, add unavailability, process swaps, sign up for events and groups, self-manage their personal details and much much more! We've added a new Children module setting for Online Age of Consent that enables you to set the appropriate age of access for invited older children and young people and there's a new preset My ChurchSuite Invitation email for children that you can further customise if you wish. The same privacy and safeguarding protection of adults is of course extended to children, meaning that it's a safe place for invited older children to experience some appropriate responsibility for managing their personal data. The workflow for sending invitations to eligible children is the same as that of Address Book contacts, starting with allowing My ChurchSuite login for a child and sending their invitation so they can register their password and log in. My ChurchSuite for children has been our most requested feature ever. We know it's going to make a huge difference to churches seeking to increase the engagement of older children and young people in church life.
November 9th, 2022 Search for Others tag restrictions extended to Children tags
Following the launch of My ChurchSuite for children, we've extended the tag restriction settings for the My ChurchSuite 'Search for Others'. While children are never included in search results, usage of the feature can now be restricted to those in Children tags as well as Address Book tags. We've also added options for 'All contacts' and 'All children', giving you complete granular control over who can use the Search feature.
November 9th, 2022 My ChurchSuite Link visibility restrictions extended to Children tags
Following the launch of My ChurchSuite for children, we've extended the tag restriction settings for My ChurchSuite external 'Links'. Link visibility in My ChurchSuite can now be restricted to those in Children tags as well as Address Book tags. We've also added options for 'All contacts' and 'All children', giving you complete granular control over who can see each link.
