We're constantly updating and enhancing ChurchApp, often building directly upon customer feedback to guide our development. The following lists some changes that were made to ChurchApp between 12th April - 24th May 2017.

23-May-2017 - Key Date filtering for archived contacts
Previously it wasn’t possible to report on Key Dates held only by archived contacts using the Archived Contacts report. Now this report can be filtered by any key date to cater for key dates like ‘deceased’ or ‘date left the church'.

We've added some handy buttons to public event pages to help your congregations spread the word about your upcoming events and add the event to their personal calendars.

We've added more handy share buttons! There are now buttons to add the event you're viewing to your devices calendar application or to your google calendar. Really handy to stay on top of a big event!

We've added share buttons to the small groups pages so that you can publicise a new group straight from ChurchApp with a few clicks

We've made it really easy for you to see which children are going to change groups when processing groups by highlighting the rows. Great for age specific groups you process on a regular basis.

We've added some handy buttons on event pages within ChurchApp so that you can easily post a link to your event page directly to Facebook or Twitter for easy publicising.

You can now raise booking charges against a booking or sequence of bookings, and send a booking page notification to your booking customers. You can also receive online payments and keep track of due and overdue charges.

The Children, Calendar, Giving and Bookings modules now each have their own Email Errors report. Like the Email Errors report in the Address Book, these reports provide a list of all changes made due to errors whilst sending emails in each respective module.

The Potential Parent Match report in the Children module now includes additional matching criteria for 'Last name and Address 1'.

We've added a custom Table Generator to the Calendar module reports, which allows you to choose the columns in a custom table. The report is filterable for events within a range of dates for maximum versatility.

The Visibility report in the Calendar module now has a column for URL, giving you a helpful place to access all your event pages without having to open every event. Click on the link and the page opens in a new browser tab. Right-click on the link and you can copy and paste the link URL address wherever you need - ideal for embedding links into your e-newsletter email.

15-May-2017 - Contact's 'site' included in contact details in My ChurchApp
For multi-site churches, when the "Search for contacts across All Sites" option is enabled in the Address Book > My ChurchApp settings, the contact's site is now shown with their contact details in My ChurchApp. Now you can see at a glance which site people are part of when you're getting in touch with others in a multi-site church.
