01-Aug-2016 - New visual helps for data import
When importing data into ChurchApp using our import interface, we now show a helpful visual confirmation of the header row of your data so that you can be sure your incoming data is being assigned to the correct field in ChurchApp. This enhancement applies to Address Book and Children module contact import, child visitor import, and donations and giver import.

You can now include Email/SMS opt in/out status when importing contacts into the Address Book and Children modules. Full student details can also be imported for the Address Book.

You can now add dates to an existing event sequence from the event page (just like you can add dates to booking sequences in the Bookings module).

In both the Address Book and Children module you can now add a conditions for "Date added". This will allow you to filter contacts created within a preset timeframe or a custom date range.

You can now add Overseer conditions to your Smart Tags. These include "Is Cluster Overseer" for Small Groups and "Is Ministry Overseer" for Rotas.

The Key Dates reports in both the Address Book and Children modules now allow you to inversely select Key Dates in the filter, in the same way as you can do on the Tags filter. Easily find out who has done 'Leadership 101' but not yet done 'Leadership 201' - now you can easily compare and contrast your Key Dates.

In the Address Book module we've added "Couple Name" as an option in the Communication > CSV export. We've also added a Key Dates option for both the Address Book and Children module Communication > CSV export - for each contact exported you can now see each of their Key Dates and the Key Date description.

You can now create a Smart Tag which finds all Address Book or Children module contacts who have a Key Date within a given date range. This enables you to be more selective with your Smart Tag, for example you could have a Tag that selects all contacts whose "First Visit" was in the "Last month" or a specified date range.

We've made improvements to the information that's displayed for you when you choose to delete something. When deleting events or bookings, for example, we now include more contextual information such as the date and time so you can be sure you're deleting the right entry.
18-Jul-2016 - Smart Tags "Regular Expressions"
For text fields, such as postcode and custom fields, we have made Smart Tag conditions even more powerful. You can now select the following options to go with your text input: Is..., Contains..., Starts with..., Ends with... and Regular Expression. The 'Regular Expression" option uses the My SQL syntax. These changes mean that you can now do incredibly powerful filtering on those fields, perhaps to discover contacts living in very specific postcode areas, or to filter a particular spiritual gift, hobby or membership status.

If an "under 18" enters a date of birth and submits their contact details, they are now added as a 'pending' child to the Children module, rather than to the Address Book.

Now you can add custom leave types in the Calendar Module Options, such as; Office Closed, Conference or Training. So now you can be a lot more specific when adding your leave.

You can now subscribe to an iCal feed of all of the Bookings within ChurchApp. We've also provided you with individual feeds for each booking type. As usual all of these feeds can be synced to your Google Calendar too!

We've added a report to the Bookings module to show all bookings that have a different date to their linked Event's start date.

For all of our UK customers we've added a Gift Aid "Status" column on the Donations_index page. There's also a 'hoverable' icon on the page to show you any notes set against a donation.

You can now specify an In Flow condition on your Address Book Smart Tags. This enables you to add another way to track contacts through your flows.

When creating a Gift Aid claim, we've added in a handy date range selector, making it easy for you to create claims for, e.g. "Tax year to date", "Last tax year". Never miss claiming for past donations that might have become eligible!

You'll now get a handy 'big red' warning when you go over your SMS 160 character limit for a single message. Really helpful to stop you from spending all of your Textlocal or BulkSMS credits in one go!

From the "Sessions" report in the Children module, you're now able to delete past sessions, enabling you to clean up the list of suggested session names when creating a new check-in session.

We've changed the label for the 'Maiden Name' field to 'Former Name' to make it more relevant and useable for a wider variety of scenarios.

When someone is listed "At this address", but has been archived, they're now listed with a line through their name and a tooltip explaining that they've been archived. This should help to make distinguishing between those who are active and archived easier at a glance.

Using the new checkbox listed against each booking resource, you can now choose which resources you want to apply Set Up/Set Down or Time changes to, making it easy to keep all resource times in sync with each other.

When viewing a child's profile within ChurchApp, there's now a new "View all attendance" action button within the Recent Attendance section. Clicking on the button will show you a record of the child's full attendance, including dates and times when they were checked in and the badge number, if appropriate.

26-Jul-2016 - Embed small groups map auto-zoom
We've tweaked how the small groups map zoom is calculated so that it now automatically sets itself at a zoom level in order to display all markers on the map.
07-Jul-2016 - Address Book embed - multisite
For multi-site enabled customers, you now have greater control over the site(s) that newcomers can choose from in the embed form. When selecting "Customise your embed styles" in the Address Book Embed module options, you can set whether newcomers are assigned to a specific site, or whether they can select a site, when they submit their details.

We've now added a fancy date picker to the My Rotas and My Giving sections of My ChurchApp, to make it easier to choose a particular date on a number of forms. An example can be seen here in the 'All Rotas' report.
