We're constantly updating and enhancing ChurchSuite, often building directly upon customer feedback to guide our development. The following lists some changes that were made to ChurchSuite between 1st June - 31st July 2020.
- 06-Jul-2020 Login pagesThe ChurchSuite login page has had some minor cosmetic changes to bring the styling in line with other ChurchSuite forms.
29-Jul-2020 Scheduled email improvementsWe've made email scheduling more reliable, changing the email provider we're using to deliver scheduled emails. In recent months, we've seen several incidents where our primary email provider, Mandrill, has delivered scheduled emails with an unacceptable level of delay. In response, we've now rolled out a new internal communication scheduling system and will also be sending scheduled emails through our secondary email provider, Mailgun.
We're already seeing better email delivery times and will continue to closely monitor this new setup to ensure reliability.https://support.churchsuite.com/article/75-scheduling-emails-and-cancelling-them
22-Jul-2020 Child ImportWe've modernised the Children module's Child import to bring it in line with the pattern used for importing library items, customers, givers and visitors. Invalid rows identified in the CSV file can now be edited and fixed (or deleted) within the importer. You can also pause and resume the import process.https://support.churchsuite.com/article/549-importing-your-children-data-into-churchsuite
14-Jul-2020 Email scheduling restoredUpdate: Tuesday 14th July - Email scheduling is now running reliably and has been restored.
Our email provider Mandrill is experiencing significant delays processing scheduled emails. Whilst they resolve their issues, we have chosen to temporarily disable email scheduling and will restore it once Mandrill have confirmed the situation is back to normal service.Emails that have been scheduled for delivery should still be delivered, but we're seeing significant delays in some instances.
