Ongoing Updates: 1st October - 13th November 2024

We're constantly updating and enhancing ChurchSuite, often building directly upon customer feedback to guide our development. The following lists some changes that were made to ChurchSuite between 1st October 2024 and 13th November 2024.

October 15th, 2024 Added ::serving_time:: merge field to rota reminders

We've added the ::serving_time:: merge field to automatically include the formatted serving time in your rota reminder emails.

October 15th, 2024 Added 'Has linked booking' filter to event index

You can now filter the event list in the Calendar module to just those which have a linked booking or those that don't.

October 18th, 2024 Easier due/assigned controls within Flows

When viewing a Flow, we've separated out the ability to change the due date/assigned user from "Process". You can now change the due date/assigned user simply by clicking on the date in the Due column. Alongside this, we've also added the ability to choose a specific due date and assigned user when processing someone through a Flow. When the "Move to stage" action is selected, the Due and Assigned fields are displayed, populated with the calculated values, but allowing you to override them should you wish to do so.

October 22nd, 2024 Improved navigation between Children groups

We've improved the navigation between Groups in the Children module. When you view a Group, you'll find a list of all Groups in the Gathering is now displayed sequentially, based on age, giving you a quicker way to navigate to a different Group.

October 22nd, 2024 Session Templates & Sessions relocated in Children module

We've moved the Session Templates and Sessions sections within the Children module - you'll now find them when you click in to view a specific Gathering. We've modernised the layout and filtering, but all core functionality remains the same.

October 25th, 2024 Check-In is in public beta

We've opened up our Check-In beta program to all customers so all can benefit from a faster and simpler child check-in experience. Download the Android or iOS app today or choose 'Check-In' when logging in to try it out. Check out our support articles and recent blog post for information.

November 6th, 2024 Rota unavailability CSV

We've added a 'Download CSV' batch action for rota unavailability. You'll see this on the Unavailability tab on a rota view and on the Unavailability index in the Rotas module.

October 8th, 2024 Add to flow actions on Event view updated

We've modernised the "filter" pop-up that is shown when adding event sign-ups, invitees and check-ins to flows, making the filter options clearer for module users. No functionality has changed.
