July 10th, 2024 Better visualisation of Small Group attendance

We've made a number of changes to how attendance for Small Groups is visualised. When viewing a group, the chart has been modernised with a cleaner look, and the table of attendance below has been updated to better indicate when a member attended/didn't attend, alongside when the group didn't meet. When viewing a person, you'll find updated visuals in the Small Groups widget under the "Engagement" tab too. From here you'll see an overview of the person's attendance over the past 12 months - helpful in identifying attendance trends, which can form part of effective pastoral care.

July 18th, 2024 Tag enhancements

We've released a couple of enhancements to Tags that we think will really help to keep your tags better organised: Tags can now be categorised, and a default category colour can be assigned. You'll see categories in action on people's profile pages and in tag filters in reports and the advanced search. You can also 'pin' your most important tags, choosing from a range of pin 'icons'. Pinned tags show at a glance next to people's names on their profiles - ideal for giving Users an immediate alert to someone who's missing a particular consent or isn't yet in a small group.

August 7th, 2024 "My training" in-platform video learning for users

"My Training" is a new, integrated learning tool that brings together our library of short training videos and related support articles in a structured way to help your users systematically train themselves on how the system works. Users can access "My training" from their User menu, watching videos of interest, or marking watched videos they've already seen. Progress is tracked and encouragement badges are awarded as training milestones are reached. Administrators can also track user training progress; either from an overview seen on the Users index (through a new custom column for 'Training Progress'), or from a new 'Training' tab shown on each user's profile. Whether you're onboarding new users or upskilling longstanding users, My Training is designed to help users better understand the system and be more effective in the tasks they do in ChurchSuite.

September 3rd, 2024 Batch edit action for donation notes

We've extended the list of donation fields that are editable using batch actions to now include the Notes field. This means you can edit and batch-change the note assigned to multiple selected donations.

September 11th, 2024 Add to Key Date from a 'Date' custom field

We've added a Custom Field action to the Address Book and Children module settings that will convert a date-type custom field into a key date across all your sites. This is ideal when you want to maintain a date history for people rather than overwriting an existing custom field date value each time.

September 17th, 2024 Improvements to pages with tabbed content

We've made a number of improvements to the way that pages with tabbed content work. Alongside improved accessibility and colour contrast, your browser now remembers the last visited tab, meaning that refreshing the page or going back in browser history to a page with tabs will return you to the tab you were previously working on.

September 20th, 2024 Fluro Import

For customers migrating from Fluro, we've got an integration that will import your Fluro contacts and historic attendance data directly into ChurchSuite.

September 26th, 2024 Attendance module updates

We're really pleased to be able to take the wraps off a major update to the Attendance module. Inspired by many of the suggestions our customers have made, we believe these updates add polish and additional functionality, as well as setting things up for future updates that we'd like to make. Included within the updates are: - New interactive charts, including the ability to drill down to specific gatherings/metrics and more data aggregation options. - New "Gatherings", allowing you to define which metrics you want to record based on your gathering, e.g. Sunday AM, Sunday PM or Foodbank. - Enhanced "People Tracking", making it even easier to record and report on attendance trends. - All new reports, consolidating the functionality from the old reports into a more intuitive and customisable format.
