We're constantly updating and enhancing ChurchSuite, often building directly upon customer feedback to guide our development. The following lists some changes that were made to ChurchSuite between 25th February 2021 and 16th June 2021.

June 11th, 2021 Dashboard widgets
When you first log in to ChurchSuite, the Dashboard page now shows you customisable widgets, giving you insights into the data in your account. Add and remove widgets, customise and reorder them - you can set up the Dashboard to show you exactly what you need to work effectively!
June 8th, 2021 Optional rota expiry reminders
After disabling this feature in March 2021 due to Covid19, we've now re-enabled rota expiry reminders. We've also made the reminder notifications optional on a per rota basis. Expiry reminders are disabled by default for existing rotas, but you can now edit a rota's settings to re-enable the rota expiry reminders that overseers can optionally receive.
May 19th, 2021 Label/envelope support for couple givers
When producing labels and envelopes in the Giving module's Communication section, you can now select to 'Display as couples', which will address a couple giver's label or envelope with the primary giver name and their spouse name
May 17th, 2021 Categorised planning notes
We've added new categorised notes to plans and templates. Set your categories at the plan or template level and then add notes for each category at the item level regardless of item type. These are great for giving direction to groups of volunteers on a plan - they can even filter out notes which are irrelevant to their ministry area.
May 6th, 2021 Custom Fields for Bookings customers
We've added custom fields for Customers in the Bookings module, enabling you to better manage all your customer-related information that doesn't fit neatly into the standard customer fields.
May 6th, 2021 Custom Fields for givers
We've added custom fields for Givers in the Giving module, enabling you to better manage all your giver-related information that doesn't fit neatly into the standard giver fields.
April 22nd, 2021 Table Generator Group filter for Children
We've introduced a 'Groups' filter to the Table Generator report for Children.
April 21st, 2021 Rota accept/decline
It's now possible to send rotas and for users, overseers and rota members to process accept/decline responses. All rota views in ChurchSuite and My ChurchSuite visually distinguish the serving status of each rota member. The 'send rota' workflow has also been modernised and recipient rota members can access a new personal serving page listing all their serving commitments and through which they can accept/decline. This feature is optional - enabled in the module settings, and then on a rota-by-rota basis.
April 14th, 2021 Larger people images in lists
We've gone through ChurchSuite and made people images a little larger when they're displayed in a table, for example the Contacts or Children index pages. We've also tweaked and tidied tag and key date pages, simplifying the table layout and making key data a little clearer.
April 13th, 2021 Flow note visibility
When processing people through a 'restricted visibility' Flow, any Notes added in the 'Process' pop-up now default to being added with the same visibility restriction as the Flow, rather than 'All users'.
March 31st, 2021 New Communication log filter
Within the Communication log (often found at the bottom of the page), we've added a new filter, making it easy to travel back in time and see what communication someone received in a given month. With these updates, you should also find the Communication log to be more responsive and quicker to load.
March 29th, 2021 More intelligent event ticket duplication
When you duplicate an event with tickets, we now automatically adjust the ticket date/time relative to the new event, meaning you only need to edit the tickets if you want to further adjust their times. One less thing to have to think about!
March 17th, 2021 New 'Write' access user permissions
We've introduced a new Write-level user type with module access that sits between 'Use' and 'Manage' permissions. Users with Write access can fully use all the features of a module - add/import/duplicate/edit/delete - but are unable to make changes to the module's settings. We've also modernised the interface when adding and viewing users, and those with Use and Write access are now able to view the module's settings.
Events
June 8th, 2021 Event check-in ticket filter
We've added a ticket filter to the event check-in system, allowing you to only view sign-ups for a specific ticket type. The filter will automatically show for events with more than one ticket.
June 8th, 2021 Events - sold out tickets now remain visible
We've made a change so that sold out tickets will continue to be listed on the event page, but will show as unavailable. If you wish to remove a sold out ticket from the event page entirely, simply set the visibility as hidden or its date range to be in the past.
