We're constantly updating and enhancing ChurchApp, often building directly upon customer feedback to guide our development. The following lists some changes that were made to ChurchApp between
27th January - 23rd February 2016.
23-Feb-2016 - Embed Calendar Tweaks
We now only show 4 events on a date in our embedded calendar. The other events can be shown by clicking a "More/Less" toggle. This makes the calendar a lot easier to view for busy months.
23-Feb-2016 - Cancelling scheduled emails
We've rebuilt our processes to cancel scheduled, which now provide much better progress to the user about how many have been cancelled and how many are still being processed.
15-Feb-2016 - Giving - Gift Aid reports
We've consolidated the Gift Aid reports into a single report, which includes additional filter options to help you identify claimable/claimed/unclaimed/not claimable donations.
12-Feb-2016 - Children Attendance Reports
We've added two new reports into the Children's module: attendance graph generator and attendance monthly breakdown. Making it easier to track attendance across your children groups.
11-Feb-2016 - Add to ministry from a rota
When viewing a rota you can now add members to a ministry team if they aren't already in one.
10-Feb-2016 - Duplicating Events
You can now choose to duplicate the event photo (or upload a different one) when duplicating an event.
10-Feb-2016 - PNG Images
Throughout ChurchApp you are now able to upload PNG images. This gives you more creative ability since PNGs support transparency.
09-Feb-2016 - PDF address label adjustments
We've adjusted how addresses are formatted when you generate an Avery label sheet, now centring them within the label height and adjusted font sizes for longer addresses.
08-Feb-2016 - Expanded custom fields
You can now have up to 10 custom fields for contacts, children and smallgroups.
08-Feb-2016 - My ChurchApp - Custom privacy message
08-Feb-2016 - Change payment card
You can now change your payment card through the Billing section. This will cancel your current subscription and take you through to setup a new subscription.
08-Feb-2016 - Personalise Flow emails
When processing someone through a Flow, if an action is to send out a preset email, you can now choose to "Personalise" the email for the recipient before it's sent. This doesn't make changes to the preset email, it simply personalises the email the recipient receives.
08-Feb-2016 - Givers Import
From the Givers index page you can now import from CSV all your givers. This functionality works in the same way that contact import works.
02-Feb-2016 - Smart tag postcode search
When using a smart tag to match people in a specific postcode, you an now use the underscore ("_") character to represent a space. For example "NG1_" would match "NG1 1AA" but would not match "NG11 2BB".
02-Feb-2016 - Slovak Translations
We have now added Slovak translations into our member-facing systems including; My ChurchApp, Connect and Donate.
02-Feb-2016 - Attendance layout/colour updates
When viewing attendance data in the Attendance module, the layout has been updated to include the colours assigned to each category, making it easier to distinguish between section.
01-Feb-2016 - Form field clarity
We've adjusted the padding and border colour of form fields to increase clarity and readability throughout the system.
01-Feb-2016 - Created time and user
On all of our edit pages we now display the created time and the user at the bottom of the edit form.
29-Jan-2016 - Multisite Colour Coding
Multisite now has colour! Making location reports much more user friendly.
27-Jan-2016 - Rota team rotation option
When generating a rota, you're now able to select which teams for your ministry you'd like to rotate in the rota. For example, you could exclude one team entirely, if you use that team for a "Reserve List" or something similar, leaving the contacts within the ministry, but not on a serving rotation.
09-Feb-2016 - Email/SMS Opt-Out
You can now change your Email/SMS opt-out settings in My Details and My Children.
29-Jan-2016 - Event artwork consistency
Whenever event artwork is displayed within a list, for example as a Featured Event or within the My Events section, it is now displayed in 16:9 aspect ratio. When viewed on the event page it remains displayed in its original aspect ratio.
