Just a couple of days ago, we ran a training day with customers from all over the UK attending. It was a fantastic day, and for those who weren't able to make it, we wanted to give a quick summary of some of the exciting announcements that we made.
Around 40 of you booked a place (we were at max capacity!) and we had lots and lots of lovely feedback from you. Thank you for making the effort to come along and thank you for being such a great customer community! To give you a taste of the feedback we had, here are some tweets that went out from customers about the event:
We really enjoyed meeting you face to face - hearing your feedback, finding out more about how you use ChurchApp and just generally getting to know you a bit better. We care deeply about the kingdom and it was wonderful hearing the stories of how ChurchApp is helping in your church / ministry contexts. As we were driving home, we were buzzing with excitement about what God is doing through ChurchApp - it's such a privilege to be a part of this. We also want to take this opportunity to say a big "thank you" to all our customers!
This is an exciting new development that we announced on Monday. Going live on accounts tomorrow, this will enable newcomers at your church to simply submit their details at the info desk, through your church's iPad, Android tablet, or laptop. You can even tell ChurchApp to add a Key Date, like "First Visit", or a tag (like "Newcomer") automatically to the newcomers using this form, which should help to follow up on newcomers to your church more effectively.
When this goes live tomorrow, you'll be able to find it in your Address Book Module options, under a new tab called "Connect".
For those of you who have been in situations where you wanted to find everyone who wasn't in a tag, this is now possible in ChurchApp! On the Address Book > Communication screen, when you select "By Tag" simply click the "NOT matching these tags" option.
If you weren't able to make the day, we're definitely hoping to plan similar events in the future, so we'll hopefully see you then!
